Alex Benac (he/him) is a Vice President at Crestview Strategy based in Toronto.
Alex is an award-winning communications strategist and creative storyteller whose experience developing content, executing integrated multichannel campaigns, and managing issues spans both the public and private sectors. As a strategy director for one of the world’s leading public relations agencies, he worked with an impressive array of prominent brands to shape public opinion and purchase behaviour in the automotive, education, energy, retail, food and beverage, technology, and financial service industries.
In addition to his experience driving innovation and creativity agendas for his clients, Alex is a highly sought after resource for Ontario Liberal political campaigns. He has served as chief spokesperson and media relations advisor to Ontario’s minister of infrastructure, a war room team lead, and campaign deputy communications director responsible for strategic planning.
Alex is the recipient of the CPRS Ace Gold (Media Relations), CPRS Ace Gold (New Product/Service Launch Campaign of the Year), and was shortlisted for the CPRS Creative Campaign of the Year.
Alex earned a Bachelor of Arts in Media Theory and Production from Western University and a diploma in broadcasting from Fanshawe College.
