Andrew Percy is a Vice President at Crestview Strategy based in Vancouver, supporting the business across Canada and the UK.
Andrew has served in frontline politics for over 24 years, including 14 years as a Member of Parliament in the UK House of Commons. Andrew served in office as Minister for Local Growth and the Northern Powerhouse and as the UK Trade Envoy to Canada for Prime Ministers David Cameron and Theresa May.
During his time as Trade Envoy to Canada, Andrew worked on major campaigns, including in the realms of public infrastructure, defence (Type 26 frigate campaign), energy and tech. Through this work, Andrew has built strong and deep links and both the business and political level across Canada.
A former Select Committee Chairman and member of the Health, Regulatory Reform and Northern Ireland committees and active participant of the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association and member of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, Andrew’s network also extends across Europe, Australasia and the middle east.
A graduate of the University of York and Leeds Law School, Andrew served 10 years as a City Councillor and worked as a Secondary School History teacher. He also has over a decade of experience as an active frontline First Responder with the Yorkshire Ambulance Service.
Andrew brings a strong record in communications, campaigns and real world experience at the heart of government decision-making.
