Gurratan Singh is a Vice President at Crestview Strategy based in Toronto.
Gurratan is an advocate, strategist, and former Member of the Ontario Provincial Parliament. With expertise in communications and stakeholder relations, he offers clients strategic advice across government relations, campaigns, crisis management and community engagement. He specializes in bridging stakeholders across the public, private, and non-profit sectors, informed by his decade plus long career.
A seasoned political organiser, Gurratan has developed and implemented effective campaign strategies at all levels of government, including a successful federal party leadership race. He is committed to fighting for his clients to aid them in navigating government and achieve their strategic objectives by leveraging his deep understanding of the legislative process.
Gurratan has held several key roles in the Legislative Assembly of Ontario, including Critic for the Attorney General, Deputy House Leader, and holds extensive experience at provincial committees. During his time in provincial politics, he engaged directly with community leaders, labour representatives, donors, and thousands of constituents. Prior to his election, Gurratan practiced as a litigation lawyer representing the interests of hundreds of clients across Ontario including at the Ontario Court of Justice, Superior Court of Justice, and the Ontario Court of Appeal.
Gurratan has built a recognized brand and prominent reputation as a dedicated champion for individuals who face challenges in gaining access to resources and support. He is dedicated to building initiatives that are grounded in the principles of social justice and align with his core values. He is a regular political commentator, having appeared on major networks including CBC, CP24, CTV, and Global News.
Gurratan holds a Juris Doctor (JD) from Osgoode Law School and was Called to the Bar in 2011. He earned an Honours Bachelor of Arts in philosophy and religious studies from McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario. He currently resides in Brampton with his wife and two daughters.
