Hunter Knifton is a Consultant and Data Scientist with Crestview Strategy based in Calgary.
Hunter is experienced in strategic communications, government affairs, politics, and a wide array of data science and public opinion research tools and techniques.
He has extensive experience in politics, having recently worked on polling for mayoral and provincial campaigns across the country. Additionally, he served as the Data Director and Deputy Director of Communications for an Ontario Liberal Party leadership campaign, and contributed to the Ontario Liberal Party’s central communications team during the 2022 election.
Prior to joining Crestview Strategy, Hunter served as the Director of Advanced Analytics at a public opinion research firm, and previously worked as a strategic communications consultant at a public affairs firm. He is also a regular guest lecturer at the Ivey School of Business and Carleton University’s Political Science program.
Hunter holds an HBA degree from the Ivey School of Business and has completed MIT’s Applied Data Science program. He is a co-founder of Open Arms, an organization dedicated to supporting vulnerable populations fleeing conflict across the globe.
