Kema Joseph

Kema Joseph is a bilingual Consultant with Crestview Strategy based in Toronto.

Kema’s expertise is in building trusted and diverse cultural connections for clients with limited access to political decision-makers. She identifies and creates communication channels to support in creating dialogue and relationships to increase inclusion. Kema has been invited to share her political perspectives on major broadcast news outlets, including CBC and CTV.

Prior to joining Crestview Strategy, Kema worked in Mayor John Tory’s Office as a Stakeholder Relations and Outreach advisor, providing counsel and strategies to help support large non-profit organizations that host significant cultural and community festivals in the City of Toronto. Kema also managed the successful execution of many important cultural moments for Toronto, including the official recognition of the United Nations International Decade for People of African Descent. In 2019, she played a significant role in The CivicAction Leadership Foundation’s DiverseCity Fellows program.

Kema earned a master’s degree in Political Science from l’Université de Montréal and a bachelor’s degree in Public Administration and Political Science from the University of Ottawa.
