Laila Hawrylyshyn is a Consultant with Crestview Strategy based in Ottawa.
Born and raised in Brazil, with a Ukrainian background, Laila’s passion for politics comes from an eagerness to learn and help her community grow. Laila is dedicated to building bridges between government and clients to improve the lives of those across Canada.
Before joining Crestview Strategy, Laila worked on healthcare, broadcasting, gender equality and transportation files at a public affairs agency. She also previously worked for a Member of Parliament and played active role in a successful 2021 re-election campaign as the Candidate’s Aide and Social Media Manager. Additionally, Laila worked at the Greater Toronto Airports Authority’s Noise Management, and Public Affairs and Stakeholder Relations teams.
Laila holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Wilfrid Laurier University and a postgraduate certificate in Government Relations Management from Seneca College. She spent one year abroad studying Social Sciences at the University of Ljubljana, in Slovenia.
Laila was recently appointed as the Co-Chair of the Brazil-Canada Chamber of Commerce’s Ottawa Chapter and is a member of the Government Relations Institute of Canada (GRIC).
