Maailah is a Consultant with Crestview Strategy based in Toronto.
Maailah offers strategic advice and astute political analysis for a wide range of clients which include technology start-ups, post-secondary education institutions, healthcare coalitions, manufacturers, and multinational corporations. She has deep insight on the impact political dynamics have on public policy and is passionate about securing wins for her clients. In 2021, Maailah was ranked #23 on the Lobby Monitor’s most active lobbyist in Ottawa.
Prior to joining Crestview Strategy, Maailah worked in a variety of roles at the Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services. During her time at Queen’s Park, Maailah was responsible for key cabinet ministers’ rollout of strategic initiatives and worked on files that supported marginalized communities. She won her first political campaign at Western University when she was elected Student Senator, establishing her brand as a fierce advocate for student issues. Additionally, she was actively involved in campus life as an Editor at the campus newspaper, The Western Gazette.
Maailah holds an Honors degree in International Relations from the University of Western Ontario.
