Maryscott “Scotty” Greenwood is a Partner at Crestview Strategy based in Washington, D.C.

Scotty serves as a business and public policy advocate, communications expert and political strategist to Fortune 500 companies, trade associations and non-profit organizations. Assisting clients with their legislative and public policy challenges in the United States, she draws from experience that crosses borders and sectors. As CEO of the Canadian American Business Council, a frequent media commentator and a public speaker, she has repeatedly been recognized by The Hill Times.

During her time as Chief of Staff for the US Embassy in Canada, Scotty received the State Department’s Meritorious Honor Award for creating an innovative outreach program for Governors and Premiers. Previously, Scotty was Director of Intergovernmental Affairs for the city of Atlanta, serving on the White House Interagency Task Force on Security for the Centennial Olympic Games. Prior to that, she was Executive Director of the Democratic Party of Georgia, having worked on the state’s Democratic primary and presidential campaigns since 1988.

Scotty has completed courses at Stanford University, Rock School of Corporate Governance, National Association of Corporate Directors and the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard.
