Michael Shoveller is a Consultant with Crestview Strategy, based in Halifax.
Michael assists clients with strategic communications counsel and narrative development. He provides critical insight on public policy, government, and stakeholder engagement, drawing on his experience with crown corporations and government departments in the Sports and Entertainment, Youth & Education, Cannabis, and Health Care sectors.
Michael most recently worked as an analyst for a public sector consulting firm, focusing on privacy and legislative analysis. He conducted research and provided analyses on several multi-stakeholder projects at the municipal and provincial levels. In Michael’s role as Co-President of the Varsity Leadership Council at Queen’s University, he oversaw media strategy and community building.
Michael received several accolades while playing basketball including a Commonwealth Games Silver Medal for Team Canada in 2018. Michael holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree from Queen’s University as well as a Master of Public Administration degree from Dalhousie University.
