Braman  Thillainathan

Consultant

Braman Thillainathan is a Consultant at Crestview Strategy based in Toronto. Braman is an experienced communicator skilled in cultivating trust among the public and stakeholders through effective messaging. With a background in crisis and issues management, he has provided valuable counsel to public sector executives, the Premier’s Office, and Ministerial Offices.

Prior to joining Crestview Strategy, Braman served as a civil servant in Ontario, contributing to various communications teams throughout his tenure. He held a position at the Cabinet Office, where he managed issues for a portfolio of ministries, including the Ministry of Attorney General, Ministry of the Solicitor General, and Ministry of Finance. The majority of Braman’s career in government was spent providing guidance on issues management and media relations at the Ministry of Education.

Braman holds a position on the board of directors at the Canadian Public Relations Society (Toronto). He was appointed as a committee member for the City of Markham, serving as a representative for the constituents of Markham. He also chairs the non-profit organization Fixthe6ix, dedicated to combating the stigma surrounding homelessness in Toronto.

Braman graduated with a double major in Political Science and Media & Public Interest from Western University. He obtained a graduate certificate in Public Relations from Humber College.
