Jason Craik is a Senior Consultant at Crestview Strategy based in Vancouver.
Jason has over a decade of experience providing high-level, strategic public affairs counsel to both business leaders and elected officials at the municipal, provincial, and federal levels. A problem solver by nature, Jason believes that even the most complex, challenging issues can often be turned into opportunities.
Prior to joining Crestview Strategy, Jason was the digital and integrated communications practice lead in Western Canada for a top public relations firm. He developed data-driven advocacy campaigns and provided strategic communications advice for multinational companies, governments, and other large, multifaceted organizations.
Jason also served in various roles in former Premier John Horgan’s BC NDP government, including as an issues manager. In this capacity, he was responsible for developing and coordinating all internal and external communications products for various government ministries. He also advised the Premier on issues mitigation and messaging and prepared his Ministers for Question Period, events, and media availabilities.
He studied Computer Information Systems at the University of the Fraser Valley and has been a long-time community volunteer.
