Wendy Weston is Practice Coordinator, Strategic Communications at Crestview Strategy in Toronto.
Previously, she served as Special Assistant, Constituency Issues to the 25th Premier of Ontario and MPP for Don Valley West. In this role, Wendy managed the daily administrative operations of the Member’s office in the Ontario Legislature and served as a direct point of contact between Provincial Government Ministries and constituents in the riding. Known for her strong relationship-building skills, Wendy collaborated closely with various stakeholders, including Ministers, the media, constituents, and broader community.
With a background in radio programming, promotions, and sales Wendy brings a nuanced understanding of the Canadian media landscape and marketing initiatives. Her professional journey includes working with companies in the mining, financial services, regulatory, and customer service industries.
Wendy has been acknowledged for her volunteer work with Girl Guides of Canada and was presented with the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Award in 2023 for her commitment to excellence in public service. Her involvement in civic affairs extends to her candidacy for City Councillor in Ward 8 during the municipal elections in Toronto in October 2022. This experience provides her with a unique perspective on campaigns and fundraising.
Wendy holds a Bachelor of Arts from York University with a focus on Geography and Business Administration.
