Andrew Percy is a Vice President at Crestview Strategy based in Vancouver, supporting the business across Canada and the UK.
A former British Government Minister, Andrew served in front line politics for over 24 years, including as Minister for Local Growth and the Northern Powerhouse, 14 years as an MP and 10 years as a City Councillor.
Andrew served as the UK Prime Minister’s Trade Envoy to Canada for Prime Ministers David Cameron and Theresa May. During this time Andrew worked on major campaigns in Canada, including in the realms of public infrastructure, defence (Type 26 frigate campaign), energy and tech.
A former Committee Chairman and member of the Health, Regulatory Reform and Northern Ireland Committees, active participant of the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association and member of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, Andrew’s network also extends across Europe, Australasia and the Middle East.
A graduate of the University of York and Leeds Law School, Andrew previously worked as a Secondary School History teacher and spent over a decade serving on the front line as a First Responder in the Yorkshire Ambulance Service.
Having been a decision-maker in government, Andrew brings a unique perspective and understanding of stakeholder relations, communications, policy development and how government works internally.
